You can get a plate of black pepper lamb chop for RM10.00 in Bintulu.
Following the fuel price hike inJune’08, the same plate of lamb chop have
cost more at RM12.00. The direct impact has got more people to tighten up their
belts saving up more for family needs as other essential items have followed the
price increase along the line of effect.
This evening is my last visit to that food stall as it will end the business from tomorrow.
Just in time to order the last three lamb chop that the kitchen has. One for my boy, the other as take away and the third is the last plate of black pepper lamb chop for me.
Maybe this is the end to the RM12.00 lamb chop………

I stopped over in Bintulu for half a day yesterday on my way back to Kuala Lumpur from Miri and took a brief walk along the riverfront just before lunch.
It was interesting to see people going about their daily routine. I was mesmerised by the activities along the river, especially this ferry taking people (and their motorbikes) across from one side to the other. I was lucky to capture this as I had my G7 in my pocket. How I wish I had my 40D with me and lots of time for more interesting shots.
